April Events in Downtown Allentown

Happy Spring! This month unwind and unplug with relaxing events exclusively for residents. Also, this month we’re bringing back Resident Bingo Night! Keep reading to discover all our April events.

New Resident Social Hour

Meet your new neighbors at one of the best dining and entertainment spots in the region, Sports & Social! Play all the games for free while you mingle with fellow new residents and enjoy complimentary apps and drink specials. RSVPs are required for this event. Complimentary appetizers include Nashville chicken sliders, cheeseburger sliders, bruschetta crostini, and tuna poke wonton bites. Breathwork and Sound Healing Class

Join Haley Martinez of Primal Practice for a 60-minute breathwork and sound healing class on Wednesday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the 5th-floor ballroom at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel. This class will be followed by a pop-up smoothie bar for a post-class drink. Tickets for this class are $15. Please bring anything you need to be as comfortable as possible such as water, a mat, a blanket, and a cushion. Purchase tickets now.

Resident Bingo Night

Residents are invited to a FREE bingo night at Blended Allentown on Tuesday, April 16, from 6-9 p.m. Arrive early, as bingo will start promptly at 6 p.m. Prizes include gift cards and swag from downtown restaurants and retailers, Phantoms tickets, and more. DAM That’s the BAUM

Join instructor, Alaura Ennis at The Baum School of Art from 6:00-7:30pm on April 17th for a $15 Candles and Clay Workshop! Paint fun designs on a taper candle and create a candle holder out of Sculpy clay. Purchase tickets now.

BYOBook (A Quiet Ready Party)

Bring your own book and join like-minded readers to enjoy a quiet reading party in select buildings on Thursday, April 18, from 7-9 p.m. A selection of extra books will be available should you not have a book of your own. Discussion and light chatter are encouraged for the first and last 15 minutes of the event should you like. If not, you’re welcome to read and leave as you please! Tea and desserts will be provided. Treat Yourself Tuesday: Donuts

Treat Yourself Tuesday and Donut Dash are coming together for Treat Yourself Tuesday: Donuts! Mary Ann Donut Kitchen will deliver a variety of fresh donuts at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP for this event on Cobu.

Jenny’s Kuali Malaysian Cooking Demo

Sample Malaysian cuisine at Jenny Kuali’s cooking demo on Wednesday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m. in The Hub at Cityplace. Watch as Jenny prepares homemade Malaysian dishes, like Mee Goreng (chicken or vegetable noodles) with a summer roll. This event is $15 per resident. You may bring one non-City Center guest. Put It On Our Tab: Free Plant from Sterner’s Stems

The first 50 residents to visit Sterner’s Stems on Tuesday, April 30, from 12-6 p.m. will get to pick either a mini terrarium or hydroponic plant and vase. Redeem this offer when you show the coupon on the “Perks” tab on the Cobu App. RSVP for this event on Cobu.

Boozy Bingo at Blended

Every Wednesday, from 7:30-9 pm. play for exciting prizes, gift cards, boozy goodies, desserts, and raffles at Blended’s Boozy Bingo.
