Why make Downtown Allentown home?
I like that the area is in the middle of the action. There are lots of restaurants and places that are easy to walk to.
How did you hear about Downtown Allentown/Lehigh Valley?
I knew of the area from passing and always liked coming over here. One of my friends from college is from the area and recommended it as well.
Compared to other places you’ve lived, what makes your apartment building unique?
I appreciate that the gym is in the building and I don’t have to go anywhere to work out. Additionally, the building is very secure and modern which are both pluses.
Why did you want to move Downtown? Was it your job, family, or friends?
I moved out here because I got a job at Lehigh Valley Health Network. For my specific program I have to go to different hospital locations and being downtown I’m pretty close to the different locations which is convenient.
What was the deciding factor that made you choose this apartment community as your new home?
The building is close to the different hospital locations was very important for me. Additionally, I liked that I’m close to everything in the Downtown area and can easily go out and have a good time.
What makes living in Downtown Allentown better than living anywhere else in the Lehigh Valley?
You’re close to restaurants, bars, etc so there’s no problem finding fun things to do that you can walk to.
What’s your favorite memory so far since you moved to Downtown Allentown? Going out with friends and eating awesome food. 😋
You have friends from out of town visiting—where are the best spots to take them that show what Downtown Allentown is all about? I’m still learning the best spots here but so far Sports and Social and the Downtown Allentown market have been well-liked by my friends and me.
What is one thing you love the most about living in Downtown Allentown? The proximity to everything.
How did you make your apartment, home? I made sure my personality is shown. Some things I have collected from traveling and living in other places, notes or little things that were given to me, etc. I’m a nurse, and I love to travel and learn new things. I think that is evident in my home.
How would you describe your decorating style? It’s a work in progress for sure but I love to incorporate items from my travels and show who I am.
What’s the weirdest item you own in your apartment? I have a stuffed animal capybara (one of my fav animals) and it always makes people laugh.
Name one item you always have in your fridge or pantry. I love tea so I always have various types
One app must go: Instagram or TikTok. Which one are you choosing and why? Tiktok. I’ve never had it because I always just watch it on Instagram. 🙃
What’s the most Insta-worthy amenity space in your building? Definitely the courtyards. They’re so beautiful at the night with lights!
What do you want other people to know about living in Downtown Allentown? It’s nice to be able to go out and do things that are so close and meet new people.
What’s your favorite item in your wardrobe? My power suit of course.
How do you stay inspired? Just by remembering that nearly nothing in life is as scary as it seems and if you want to change something then you can do it whether it’s now, in 1 year, or 10.
How about your go-to pump-up song? To me by Alina baraz. It’s such a chill vibe kinda song
