Marissa, a STRATA resident who has been here from the beginning, talks new menus, the arts, and why she wanted to be a part of the revitalization in Downtown Allentown.

What made you move Downtown? I had gotten a job in downtown and I fell in love with STRATA when I went on my first tour, hardhat and all. I thought it was a rare opportunity to be a part of something that I did not want to miss.

What’s your favorite spot to shop downtown? assembly88, even though they only carry men’s clothing, they sell these amazing cocktail scented candles that I am addicted to.

What are some small things about living at STRATA that make your day better? I love the dog park! 

How do you relax after a hard day at work? I love cooking dinner in my kitchen. It’s my favorite part of my apartment.

What is one thing you love about STRATA that most people haven’t heard of? I am loving my new membership to the Allentown Art Museum that was given to STRATA residents.

Favorite event in Downtown Allentown? Blues, Brews, and BBQ
