City Center Residential is now preleasing the 125 units in its 1010 Apartments, a walkup building at 1010 Hamilton St. that will open in mid-June. This is the developer’s 14th residential building in downtown Allentown and its fourth in the up-and-coming Downtown West district, where City Center Residential previously opened CityplaceThe NINES, and The Gallery

Designed by Bernardon, the 4-story building includes studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The pet-friendly building features a resident lounge with a coffee bar and fireplace; a courtyard with a firepit, grills, a bocce court, and cornhole; a dog park with outdoor seating; and adjacent parking in the Maple Street Parking Deck.

1010 Apartments feature open gourmet kitchens with stainless-steel Energy Star® appliances, soft-close drawers, quartz countertops, and subway-tile backsplashes. Each apartment has luxury vinyl-wood plank flooring, full-sized stackable washers and dryers, a walk-in closet, and a luxury bathroom.

Residents will be just steps away from center city Allentown and within the Downtown West neighborhood, which sits between 9th and 12th streets and Walnut and Linden streets. City Center has received approval from the Allentown Planning Commission to build Archer Music Hall at 935-939 Hamilton St. and a new boutique hotel at 949 Hamilton St. in Downtown West. New widened sidewalks, upgraded lighting, murals, trees, and landscaping will enhance residents’ and visitors’ experience in Downtown West.

1010 Apartments will provide 24/7 monitored surveillance and controlled access, Wi-Fi in the common areas, and storage for bikes and personal items. The property will also offer onsite professional management, 24/7 emergency maintenance, and concierge services, including pet walking.

All City Center Residential tenants receive a complimentary membership to the Allentown Art Museum and discounts on membership at LVHN Fitness, classes at The Baum School of Art, and tickets at Miller Symphony Hall. City Center residents can also participate in regular exclusive events, such as downtown happy hours, snowtubing at Blue Mountain, and volunteer opportunities.
