Celeste Gehman, Director, City Center Residential,  recently transferred to Downtown Allentown from one of our sister properties in Emmaus, The Meadows. She previously worked for Landmark Communities for 20 years. How many years have you’ve been working for City Center Residential/Landmark Communities? I’ve been working for this company for 20 years.

What’s your favorite part about working in Downtown Allentown? There’s always something new and exciting happening in Downtown Allentown!

Do you have a favorite lunch spot in Downtown Allentown? The Downtown Allentown Market is amazing – I love the noodle bowls at Little Miss Korea!

What is the most rewarding part of your job? I love helping residents feel at home in their new apartment.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself! Love to cook!

What’s your favorite resident event City Center Residential hosted? I haven’t been downtown long, but the Rock the Walk events are great!

What do you like to do when you’re not working? My husband and I spend much of our time distracted and playing (tiring out) with our 2 high-energy Boxer pups.

What’s one thing that you always have in your bag? I don’t keep too much in my bag, but I always have Blistex!

If you could pick one City Center Residential Property to live in, which one would you pick and why? I love the quaint feel of STRATA Symphony, especially the lofts with the private rooftop terraces. Plus, you still have access to the amenities and dog park at East and West!
