Introduction to Mindful Communication Class
Residents can enjoy the third class of a four-part series this fall covering a variety of mindfulness topics from Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Center for Mindfulness. *You do not need to attend all classes, you can pick and choose to attend any class you like.
Class details
In this one-hour introduction, you will practice mindfulness and explore how mindfulness impacts communication. You will understand how, with mindfulness, you can become a good listener to yourself and others. We can recognize “signals” when ease is present between us and when it is disrupted. This will give us clues about how to foster safety in relation to others, a fundamental building block of mindful communication.
